Ready for the Next Step, but What?
Explorers are moving toward their next step but aren't exactly sure what that next step is. Being open to new ideas, trying new things, not judging yourself if you start something and find it just doesn't fit...exciting stuff, but also unnerving.
Sometimes it's hard to tell that you are making progress toward anything. But you are. Ask one of your Intuitionet friends and they'll tell you that this part is the richest part of the journey.

Anne Tobin's Reading List
Intuitionet member, Anne Tobin, has been an HR consultant for more than 25 years and is President of TobinConnex. Here's her recommended reading for women transitioning back to work.
"Determining what to do next can be overwhelming and daunting. Life as we know it today offers zillions of choices and yet we tend to think of our limitations instead of our possibilities. I ask you to think of your next endeavor whether it be to explore new ideas, make a re-entry into the workforce, change in your career direction, or simply do something differently, as a gift. You have the capability of doing so many things. Just try to look at your options like a six-year old looks at the first attraction they see on their first trip to Disney...with wonder and excitement!"

The Real Work
by Wendell Berry
It may be that when we no longer know what to do
we have come to our real work,
and that when we no longer know which way to go,
we have come to our real journey.
The mind that is not baffled is not employed.
The impeded stream is the one that sings. Stay tuned |
